| Description | I hope to at least partially construct this study group with the children as we go along and take the study group where the children's interests lead us. We will definitely start by looking at the history of fashion (how clothing used to look, how it changed, why). We will explore the politics of clothing. We will then spend a portion of the term looking at current designs and designers. After that if the girls are feeling creative, and I am feeling adventurous, they can create their own designs. I do not sew so I can't help them actually make anything, but they can draw their designs. |
