Friday Mini-Coop
Modeled on our highly successful full-day coop, but sized just right for the little ones.
Friday Mini-Coop is a 13-week, two-hour cooperative for future or very young homeschoolers and their families. If you're interested in Voyagers Homeschool Coop but your young family isn't ready for a full day of action, the Mini-Coop is for you.
For young children
- Age-appropriate, hands-on games and activities
- Circle time
- Free and creative play time – dress-up clothes, kitchen area, puppet theater, building toys, and more
- Outside play time
For parents
- Opportunity to socialize with like-minded current or potential homeschooling parents
- Discussion of topics specific to homeschooling – share your questions
- Access to seasoned homeschoolers who can share resources and experiences
The Details
When: Fridays, 9:30–11:30 a.m., ending May 11, 2012. Mini-Coop will not meet on February 24 or April 20.
Where: Voyagers, Inc., 530 Main St., Acton, MA
Cost: Participation in the Mini-Coop is a benefit of Voyagers Family Membership. The Family Membership Fee for the winter/spring 2012 session is $200. Non-member families who wish to try the program can visit once for free. Additional visits are $20 each per family. Up to $60 can be applied to the Family Membership Fee.

How to Register
Current Voyagers members
If you are already registered for the spring 2012 session, send an email to
registrar@voyagersinc.org to let the Registrar know that you would like to add Friday Mini-Coop to your fall schedule. That's all you need to do!
If you are a current member but have not yet registered for the spring 2012 session, log in to the wiki and complete the registration process and forms as usual. On the printed Family Registration Form,
hand-write "Friday" in:
- the Days Attending column in the Family Member Information section of the form, as well as
- the Registration Options section of the form.
Then mail your forms and payment, as usual, to the address printed on the Family Registration Form.
Non-members
If you are not currently a member of Voyagers, you will need to complete our application process. Download, print, and fill out our
Application Form. Mail the completed form to the address printed on the form. You will then be contacted by a member of our registration team to confirm your interest in joining Voyagers and attending the Friday Mini-Coop, after which you will be able to complete the rest of the registration process.
Non-members who do not wish to join Voyagers at this time but who would like try the Friday Mini-Coop can attend Mini-Coop on a drop-in basis. You do not need to complete the application form. Instead, you may simply drop in and, after one free visit, attend Mini-Coop for $20 per day (per family).
