| Description | In this club, we will choose several countries that are in the news headlines to learn about. We will choose them together and set a schedule on the first day. Then, each participant will be expected to learn something about each country to share with the group. People could choose to explore folktales of a country, its population, climate, culture, etc. We may spend more than one week on a country if need be. Participants will be expected to do some research, either at a library or on the web, most every week to be ready to share with the group. |
