| Description | Join us for a hands-on class inspired by Bernie Zubrowski's books Raceways: Having Fun with Balls and Tracks and Mobiles: Building and Experimenting with Balancing Toys. For the first half of the term we will be experimenting with how balls move over differently shaped tracks and doing some problem solving to figure out some easy (and maybe not-so-easy!) challenges. In the second half of the term, we will focus on balancing mobiles and toys that we build ourselves out of cardboard. We will be working in groups, so bring your co-operative skills with you to class! |
