Barre classes provide a high-energy low-impact, full body workout which includes a combination of high repetitions of small movements and isometric contractions that tone and sculpt targeted areas, especially the glutes, thighs, calves, abs, and arms. The fun continuous flow of the class provides a great cardio aspect as well, though resting from time to time is encouraged for beginners; each participant is welcome to set the pace for themselves. Barre classes are designed to be suitable for anyone to take. And no, you don’t have to be a dancer or have a dance background.
These classes will be offered via Zoom, and a link to the group will be emailed to participants before class.
Age Range: any age and any level.
Equipment Needed: you can use a chair, kitchen counter, or back of a couch as your barre. You also may want a towel and a means of hydrating nearby. These classes are offered through Zoom.
